Antonio Herrera Ramirez

Culinary Magician

I started cooking when I was a little boy, helping my mother out in the kitchen. After I finished school, I moved to the city and worked at the resort in Babaro Punta Cana where I came to love the culinary arts.

In 2007, I decided to move to the US to look for more opportunities to grow as a chef. I ended up in the Virgin Islands in the Caribbean—a beautiful place to live and work, with an amazing culinary tradition (especially with seafood).

But life can change in a minute and on September 7th, 2017, hurricanes Irma and Maria destroyed our beautiful island. Without a lot of opportunities there, I searched for another place where my talents could flourish, so I brought my coastal experience to land-locked Colorado and Fish N Beer.
